On this last Friday I went to Atelier des Chefs? This is a place where people (Chefs) teach you how to make very original and good cocktails as well as meals and tapas so you can impress your friends ;). You will have to make a reservation as it takes place every 15 days. Go with your friends!
...will be the title for the American market of the successful French movie "La Môme" (the history of Edith Piaf). I watched it yetserday. AMAZING. Marion Cotillard is as excellent as Audrey Tautou. I only have two words for this movie and Marion Cotillard: AMAZING AMAZING !
Edith Piaf had a really great success in the USA as well in the 1960's.
Watch this video below of Edith Piaf, she amazes me.
My actual favorite music artist, Ben Harper, admires two music legends: Bob Marley & Edith Piaf.
Edith Piaf is the most incredible French singer ever. Her songs are powerfull, full of emotions and timeless. Her voice was amazing!
On February 14th, "La Môme" (biography of Edith Piaf) will come out!!! I won't miss it out!!! This movie, I can feel it, will be on the TOP :)
I can't wait! can't wait!
Elections are coming...it's getting more and more tense on the French TV shows. There is one called "T'empêche tout le monde de dormir" (you prevent everybody to sleep). This show is presented by Marc Olivier Fogiel. He belongs to the French Left Party (Socialist Party). My point of view is this guy is a f****** bastard. He's not objective at all and distorts everything. Sometimes, he reminds me your O'Reilly...You dig? The same guy, Fogiel, had been condemned for having a racist discussion toward a colored humorist "Dieudonné" (there was a BIG story about it). Everybody expected him to quite his job or reducing his apparition on TV. Nothing. TV Connections help, doesn't it?
Well, to sum up....the Left party has nothing to propose and it's getting quite scaring....The Right one led by Nicolas Sarkozy looks really more organized, objective, active and more appropriate to what French people expect. They simply propose a full and real program.
Snaps from the Australian Bar Café Oz on Saint Denis St. nearby Chatelet les Halles. We wanted to try it and we did it more than ever! Here are some of my friends I met when I lived in Los Angeles. I felt like in California for few hours :). Good atmosphere, good people!! (Hey Elodie, give my hat back!!) I can't wait for the Rugby World Cup on September this year! Should be great to watch it in this bar.
I recommend Café Oz to have fun. All the details HERE !
