Near by my place
One very small street seperates my place from "Café de la Danse". Most of the week ends it's full of people waiting in line in this small and dark street which brings you to one of the best well-known street of La Bastille district: rue de Lappe!
A wall of green
Few days ago I walked along the Seine river to visit a friend living near the Eiffel Tower. I suddenly stopped. I may stayed for 15 minutes watching up. There was a building and the wall was almost covered by plants. It was quite amazing. The revenge of the Nature over Human beings...whatever you may think watching it, you feel good :).
I wish all the buildings in Paris could be like this one

Music actually...
This morning I woke up and decided to write a post about Music.
What a wonderful creation! At my work several times a day I go from my office to offices and I usually listen to my favorite music while I'm walking. Actually I listen to the music everytime I walk in Paris. Music is my daily Air. Music is the best reflection of Human spirit according to me. That's funny how a single song can pull up emotion from human beings. And it does so easily. Everyone has his/her favorite songs, right? And what's important at the end is the context in which you listened to a first song. It reminds us a place, a person, a thought, a memory, a feeling... << which shows how our spirit can be so weak in front of our emotions, don't you think so? We can be as sad as happy very quickly. The hard stuff to do would be controlling our emotions. A hard thing to do though but that's another subject...>>.
Music is so powerful. Most of the people I know use to say I don't express my emotions at all. That's true. I just feel it but I don't express it. And I feel a lot of emotions through Music. It's very strong. Well, for example everytime I listen to "Gnarls Barkley" or "Hot Chip" I think about Smile and all the very good things I lived with that person. Gnarls Barkley reminds me also the road trip I made with my brother from Los Angeles to San Francisco and Las Vegas. We listened to it A LOT!! We had a lot of fun. Red Hot last album reminds me all the parties I experienced with my friends in L.A as well. We did party a lot! It was so much fun and there was a particular atmosphere that I liked.
Well, all that stuff just to say Music is important to me and to people in general. And you...what do you think? :)

Iguana Café
I live in la Bastille district. There are a lot of café in La Roquette street and Rue de la Lappe but there is one I like to go which is the Iguana Café. Recently refurnished, it is a spacious Café/bar with 2 floors and a cool stair. Dj's parties every Thursday. If you're fan of Champagne, cocktails, gin, vodka, beer (Corona with slices of lemon yes, yes)..you gonna be flattered!
